(THEATRE PERFORMANCE)
Drama I (Part 1 and Part 2)
Understanding and appreciation of theatre is the primary design of this course. Included in this study are: the basic skills of acting, basic structure of plays, types and styles of acting, and history of theater. This course includes production opportunities. (Fine Arts Credit) 9 - 12 Grade
Drama II
In Drama II, students will apply basic knowledge gained in Drama I with a more in depth focus in dramatic writing, direction, theatre history and style, and character development. Students will create, analyze, and direct a production, coordinating all aspects of theater arts. (Fine Arts Credit) 10 - 12 Grade
Drama III
In Drama III, students will apply basic knowedge gained in Drama II with a more in depth focus in theatrical style, production management, and community / cultural impact of theatrical and performing arts. Students will create theatrical events, coordinating all aspects of theater arts. (Fine Arts Credit) 11 - 12 Grade
